Tom and Lisa,
Happy travels! I was going to try come visit you in Dubai one of these days but I’d rather see East Timor anyway. I will come as soon as the shrinking newspaper industry disencumbers me from my current job. I’m off to Nicaragua for a few weeks, to visit friends and also do some reporting down there. Dan Ortega still hasn’t returned my calls but I hope to grab a Victoria with him. Anyway, keep in touch.
Best
Tom
A way to follow you…stalk you (!?) on the net. Lovely pics Lisa. Do you find that even with all those flowers growing like weeds, that they have no smell? I am often struck by this is heavily flora-ed Asian countries.

But who is Dan, and what does it mean to “grab a Victoria”?
I am SO out of it.
